George explained the two basic tool sharpening angles...	illustrating what was really going on at the wood	Many of George's tools were hand made by himself or to order	George's background as a production turner...

developed very efficient tool use and control	George makes some relief cuts...	and cuts the first side of a bead...	and then the other side

Smooth, fast, efficient, and obviously effective	Jim Hotaling was George's host while he was in Rochester	Everyone pauses for a bit of lunch...	and then back at it

George shows that all of the basics apply to faceplate turning too	George trues up a faceplate...	and quickly knocks out a decorative piece	George moves on the fundamentals of sharpening
