A diamond tipped tool is used to square or true up the wheel
George trues up the wheel that is named after him
A set of star rollers is used to dress or roughen up the wheel
George dresses half the wheel as a demonstration

Can you see the "dull" versus the "shiny" (dressed vs undressed)?
With George's experience, he sharpens everything free hand...
but recommends a jig for novices
George finishes up sharpening a gouge on the grinder

George hones all of his tools after grinding
This is George's bath of kerosene and oil to soak and clean his stones
George can touch up his tools with a stone many times before regrinding
George does both sides of the edge, removing the burr

The finished product, ready for use...
and plenty sharp
The flat stone is used for the skew chisels
George ties the whole day together by doing a complete leg
