Boatbuilding SIG

Interest in the Boatbuilding SIG has been re-kindled, particularly around the areas of canoe & kayak building. We will be meeting at each others shops or other places at the convenience of our members.

Carving SIG

The Carving SIG holds its meetings at the Woodcraft store in Henrietta from 6:00 to 9:00 pm, on the fourth Thursday of the month, September - June. Contact Chuck Rinehart (585-385-3058 or crinehartrochester.rr.com).

This is a working SIG, each member is working on a carving project, either a relief design or a letter carving project. The SIG is open to beginners as well as those with some carving experience. Those beginning will find help with acquiring carving tools, sharpening and developing carving skills related to classical relief designs and lettering.

 

 

Chair and Period Furniture SIG

The Chair and Period Furniture SIG meet monthly at each others shops.

Furniture SIG

The Furniture SIG holds its meetings at the Woodcraft store in Henrietta from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, on the first Thursday of the month, September - June. Contact Rick Diehl (rdiehl1rochester.rr.com).

Turning SIG

The Turning SIG has now split into two groups:

Group I meets the 3rd Thursday of the month at 6:30 PM , September to June, at the Woodcraft store in Henrietta. Contact Mike & Debbie Hachey (723-1395 or hacheymdaol.com).
