The RWS website was designed and created in August 2000 by Kurt Hertzog, with the graphics assistance of Ken Hertzog.
In April 2003, website maintenance was transferred to the incoming webmaster, Scott Hanna.
In May 2004, website duties were transferred to Maria Sohn.
Our site is hosted by ProHosting.com, located in Midway, Utah. They have provided excellent hosting service at a fair price. Consider them if you need hosting services.
Contributed articles and other materials are credited at the material location with a "by-line" credit. Any content not credited was created by the webmaster.
Photographs used in the members galleries or members workshops are usually by that member or the webmaster and are credited appropriately. Phil Rose contributes most or all of the pre-meeting photographs and some other photos. Phil's work is credited where published. Other photographic contributions are credited similarly. If no credit is given, it was either professionally photographed or was unknown.
The website will never be done. It is and will be a growing and changing thing. As such, ideas will be tried and adopted or abandoned. There is nothing that is off limits as long as it is legal, ethical, in good taste, and exhibits the RWS in the professional and dignified manner that we strive to maintain. Ideas are welcome as are links to sites that you believe have features or looks that we can learn from. Contact the Webmaster with suggestions.
