The RWS membership roster is located in a password-restricted area to protect the privacy of our members. If you would like to use this area as a convenient tool to look up member’s numbers or addresses, you will need a logon id and a password. To obtain them, please complete the request form and submit it. Upon receipt, your membership will be verified and your logon and password authorized. A confirmation e-mail will be sent to you notifying you that it is active. Normally, this will be accomplished in one business day.
The membership list has been posted in the Members Only area. It has the latest listing which includes the members e-mail address. This listing is based on the membership data file. If you see any errors, please let us know so we can correct them. If you don't have a logon and password for the Members Only area, please use the request form below to request one. Remember, your personal information is in a members only logon area and will only be used for RWS related communications.
Keep checking the recently added Sponsor's Page. It details our business members and sponsors. These companies offer special pricing for current members of the Rochester Woodworkers Society. Remember to take and show your current membership card when you visit these merchants if you would like to take advantage of their offers.
Our Home page contains the photo of one of our members’ works. The piece is selected from the Members Gallery on a rotational basis and is displayed for a finite period of time. As the gallery gets larger, the time duration of the photo on the entry page will get shorter to allow more of the work to be displayed. If you would like to have your work displayed, please make sure that it gets submitted to the member’s gallery. The selection of work will try to feature all of the facets of woodworking in an interesting and varying way.
We are actively seeking photos of your work for the member’s gallery. They need not be only of finished work. Interesting sequences, from start to finish or work in progress, will be included. The gallery will not only contain photos, but it will also contain explanations of the project and "article like" layouts. This is an area to show case the talents of our members. Don’t be bashful. If you need to have your work photographed, bring it to the pre-meeting display. There will be a table set up there to do gallery photographs. As always, ideas and suggestions on this area, or any others are welcome.
