About this event

The card scraper is a powerful tool that can produce a finish-ready surface with minimal or no sanding. Here are the details for our upcoming workshop:

  • Activities: In-session fabrication of a sharpening/holding fixture and card scraper usage in various situations. If time permits, we will also explore advanced scraping tools and tool holders, including scraping hand planes and scraping/beading scratch tools.
  • What to Bring: Please bring any materials and sharpening devices you currently use, such as stones, diamond plates, straight and round card scrapers, scraping planes, and any tools associated with scrapers.
